Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller, Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that converts from a single stroller to double stroller with the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection can be set up to a triple travel system with the addition of an infant car seat. It offers 24 configurations in total and is the most highly rated stroller. This model is constructed with Baby Jogger's soft durable, breathable and sustainably-sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating the temperature. It comes with a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar, and belly bar. It is 20% smaller and lighter than the most popular single-to-double stroller on the market, the UPPAbaby V2.
It has a moderate-sized shade as well as an e-snap-aboo window that is simple to close or open. The telescoping handlebars are one of the most simple to adjust and works well for parents of all sizes. The seats recline, and they have a footwell adjustment button so you can position your child to ensure maximum comfort. The storage bin is spacious with plenty of space, but we would have liked an easier latch. It's easy to access, but we found the zippers to be somewhat frustrating as they must be removed completely and reattached every time you use it.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breaks that are simple to install and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and is an improvement over the awkward toe-pinch brake levers that many of the competitors use.
This is the only stroller in our review that accepts two infant car seats which makes it a great option for twins or parents with a single child and a baby due. It can be used with most major brands infant car seats using an adapter. We tested it using the Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models, Cybex Aton and Aton Q, and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It is a great option for families with an infant car seat and are looking for a stroller that can accommodate it, but you may prefer a convertible stroller that can fit an additional car seat in this instance.
